Two Incredible Fisheries.
Two Completely Different Experiences.

Lake Anna is home to one of Virginia's best largemouth bass fisheries and an outstanding striped bass fishery. While both offer unforgettable days on the water, they provide very different experiences.

Whether your goal is learning new techniques, catching a personal best, or simply spending time with family, choosing the right trip starts with knowing what each fishery has to offer.

Largemouth Bass

Bass fishing is all about strategy and precision.

Every trip involves reading conditions, making presentations, and adapting throughout the day as fish position around docks, offshore structure, grass, rock, timber, or bait.

If you enjoy staying engaged, casting lures, and learning how fish behave throughout the seasons, bass fishing is hard to beat.

Great for:
  • Constant Casting

  • Learning New Techniques

  • Groups of 3 or Fewer

  • Catch & Release

Striped Bass

Striped bass are known for powerful fights and exciting action.

Depending on the season and current pattern, our guides may use live bait, trolling, or jigging to locate active schools and maximize your opportunities.

If your goal is battling hard-fighting fish, spending time with family and friends, or simply enjoying an exciting day on the water, a striper trip is an excellent choice.

Great for:
  • Powerful Fights

  • Live Bait & Trolling

  • Larger Groups (Up to 6)

  • Harvest Optional

The Best of Both Worlds

Can't decide? Many of our guests book a half-day bass trip and a half-day striper trip to experience everything Lake Anna has to offer. It's the perfect way to compare two incredible fisheries and create memories that will last a lifetime.
